QuickAddress Pro 3.0 is now available. The product is an address verification tool that validates addresses against the U.S. Postal Service database of all 150 million U.S. addresses at the point of entry. This ensures that only USPS-verified addresses enter your database and avoids address data problems before they even occur. By ensuring that packages arrive at the right destination the first time around, QuickAddress Pro enables significant printing and mailing cost savings. It's the quick and easy solution to your data and budget headaches! |

Dismal 2.2% Growth in 2002 |

The National Retail Federation (NRF) has reported that 2002 holiday sales in the GAFS category (general merchandise stores, clothing and clothing accessories stores, furniture and home furnishings stores, electronics and appliance stores, and sporting goods, hobby, book and music stores) rose 2.2%, the lowest increase since the group began tracking the figures in 1992. NRF economists cited a shorter-than-usual shopping season and the tough economic climate as key factors behind the disappointing numbers. Ellen Tolley, NRF Spokeswoman, noted that catalogue and Internet shopping outperformed traditional shopping by 36%, as consumers become more trusting of Internet and catalogue purchasing methods. "Consumers are looking toward the Internet because retailers are doing a better job making sure products reach their destination," said Tolley. "Any time you're dealing with a holiday season, which means that there's an end time and date when the packages must arrive," she added, "it's absolutely critical that products reach their destinations the first time around. We are a nation of procrastinators, which means there's simply no room for error in this area." |
