“By auto-filling address fields right from USPS data files, QuickAddress speeds up order entries – what would have taken me 30 seconds to input is now done in 10. 50 typed characters is reduced to 15. That was a benefit we weren’t even expecting to be significant, but it made a huge difference,” said Ryan Wheeler, Technology Director at Massage Warehouse, a mail-order supplier of massage equipment, oils, and lotions to 225,000 customers. The increased entry speed led to an increase in revenues. “Some of our top sales people saw a huge jump in orders taken over the phone – up 10 to 20% in just the first week,” he added. “If a sales person takes 60 calls per day, and is able to finish taking orders 20% faster, that means he can take up to 20% more calls. The potential gain from 12 more calls per day is enormous.” |
