For the new cycle, addresses must be confirmed through the use of Delivery Point Validation (DPV™) before a ZIP + 4 can be appended. Only addresses that include the ZIP + 4 will be eligible for postal automation discounts. QAS will ship the product with the new functionality in May 2007 and you must install it by the end of June 2007. Please contact your QAS Account Manager with any questions. |

Universities struggle to keep in contact with alumni because of incorrect addresses, which often leads to lost mail and broken relationships. Curry notes, "Lost letters equal lower response rates, which is a key factor in determining the success of your campaign." In an effort to reduce lost alumni communications, Curry suggests the implementation of a self-service portal on alumni websites along with record cleaning and user-friendly address data entry software. |
