If you are keeping up with QAS address verification, you may be aware
that we have some new enhancements to our products that allow for better
data quality.
QAS
Pro On Demand
Our latest version of QAS Pro Web can easily deliver real-time, address
verification into your web sites and browser-based applications without
the need for local IT maintenance. Housed in Experian's data centers,
this robust, secure, and scalable solution is monitored 24 hours a day. QAS
Pro On Demand customers are automatically updated to the latest
version and reference data as they become available without the need
to change integration code.
QAS
Pro 6.45
Late last year, following extensive customer feedback, Experian QAS
made some significant usability enhancements to QAS
Pro in release v6.40, speeding up the address capture process for
users. This month we have continued that evolution. The AutoCapture
functionality in QAS Pro 6.45 can be used with most applications to
automatically retrieve, validate and update the existing address data
directly from the fields in your CRM screen.
QAS Pro
with Names
Additionally, QAS
Pro with Names can now utilize a consumer name to locate a missing
apartment number within a building. Overall benefits include a quick
and efficient way to verify contact information while still engaged
with a customer or prospect.

Recently, we partnered with renowned data quality expert David Loshin,
president of Knowledge Integrity Inc., on a series of educational pieces
for our prospects and customers.
The first piece, The
ROI of Data Quality Management deals with the fact that most companies
identify improving data quality as a key strategic priority for 2010
- yet struggle to justify investment in data management. Loshin outlines
a process for evaluating how data requirements relate to business drivers,
and then identifying the "simple solutions" that provide significant
value.
Using
Quality Data for Competitive Advantage examines three areas of focus
for competitive advantage: revenue generation and growth, operational
efficiency, and customer service excellence. Loshin also defines "high
quality data" and offers two approaches for implementing data quality.

QAS in the Community |
| |
This year, Experian QAS has been busy giving back to the Boston community.
In a partnership with Boston Cares,
QAS employees have participated in two "Hands@Work" days at
the Boston Housing Authority’s Torre Unidad, a center that offers
a variety of living arrangements for low and moderate income elderly
and disabled persons, and the Edward Everett Elementary School, a Dorchester
public school with 310 students.
Over 150 hours were donated painting and gardening.
